Showing growth!

Hey! I said I would post some pictures of my growth a few months ago(lol) slacking! To re freshen your memories, I cut my hair last year(end of March), which is shown in one of my previous posts. I just wanted to show you how much it has grown since then. I dyed my hair in June of last year, so you can definitely tell. These pictures are from December but you'll get my drift :-)

5 months since my last update

WOW! It has been some time since I've last updated my blog O_o lol! A lot has changed within the last 5 months but I'll be brief with it.

I have become a DIY!!!! I have been doing my own sisterlocks now for 4 months, my hair has grown back since I went on my cutting spree (lol) you can tell by my roots. I want to dye them because of that but I'll wait until next spring PLUS, it shows how much my hair has grown. I've done about 3 re-tightenings on my own and I normally do them over a course of 3-4 days. My laziest was the last re-ti, which was about a week ago. It took me all week to finish, only because my arms were hurting and it felt like I wasn't getting anywhere. I said I would go to the shop for my next re-ti but we'll see. I have combined about 3 or 4 only b/c I didn't like how small they were and I know I have combined a couple within the root from my last re-ti...I didn't clip them off like I should have. I'll post pictures with my next update so everyone can see the difference in my hair now....until next time :)

7months

Hiya! Thanksgiving Day will mark my 7th month of having my lovely Sisterlocks! All I can do is smile! Time is definitely flying right on by! before I know it, it'll be a year! I can see some growth in my hair now, not much b/c it still shrinks a lot but it is noticeable. I took pictures of my hair the other night before I went to sleep so I look really tired lol....In love with my hair more now, than before, I have some of the thickness I hoped I would get. My loctician said that my hair would more than likely stay curly at the ends verses closing which I have no problem with. I love my lil curly q's lol.... Going to cut this short b/c I should be working right now lol....Until next time folks!

This last picture is from last Tuesday(11.15.2010) when I washed my hair...was 6 weeks since I had a re-ti....you can tell by my roots!

Just Because....

Just felt like updating my blog, nothing special lol...17 weeks! slippage, casing, growth, no more itching(unless I'm sweating or something), shrinkage...everything! I'm passed the whole new sisterlocked stage..I LOVE EM, no doubt...looking forward to some more length and some locking to occur lol...ready to do other things with this head of mine =) Until next time folks... oh! and I'm sure I previously said my re-ti is this week, Saturday 28th, it's been a LONG 5 weeks and will be almost 6 when I re-ti...WHEW! DEFINITELY NEEDED!!!!.. will post more pictures then, I probably already said that also but I like repeating myself sometimes... so there you have it lol.. Lata Gataz!

Big 25!

HOWDIE PEEPS! I've been soooo dang on busy here lately...shweewww lol! My 25th bday just passed on Friday, July 9th....time is definitely flying. Had to get my edge touched up, eventhough my re-ti is this Sunday coming. Wanted to be fresh for the bday lol...nothin much has changed. All I keep hearing is my hair is really growing! Do I see a difference? NO! ha ha... it likes to shrink and do it's own thing and I'm not mad at it!

2nd Re-ti!

Hello All! ! Time is moving right along : ) My re-ti went wonderful on Saturday, so happy to see my parts again lol....my hair is growing FAST, my consultant says, Very Happy about that! I feel some expansion closer to the root, towards the middle to the end, not so much. This re-ti took a little longer than the last..4 whopping hours! It wasn't too bad, we talked and giggled the whole time. I think it's about time i do a comparison of my 1st week to present....
